Payment Processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
By making a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Vocai ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Vocai is a macOS application that provides:
- Real-time voice transcription using local AI models
- AI-powered analysis and suggestions
- Recording management and organization
- Both free and premium subscription tiers
3. User Accounts
Some features may require creating an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscription and Payments
Vocai offers free and premium subscription plans:
- Free Plan: 60 minutes of transcription per month, 10 retranscriptions
- Pro Monthly: $8.99/month for unlimited access
- Pro Yearly: $89.99/year for unlimited access (17% savings)
Payments are processed securely through Paddle, our Merchant of Record (see Payment Processing section above).
Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Vocai Pro, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
- Share your subscription with others
- Use the App to transcribe content you don't have rights to
- Interfere with the App's operation or servers
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, and AI models, is owned by Vocai and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.
You retain ownership of all content you create using the App, including transcriptions and recordings.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Vocai processes transcriptions locally on your device. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The App will meet all your requirements
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vocai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
